Kintsugi Workshop
Immerse yourself in the timeless art of kintsugi, the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold, in a private, hands-on workshop designed as a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The session takes place in a private studio with a skilled instructor, ensuring an intimate and focused environment. Participants get to mend a broken piece of pottery themselves, fostering creativity, mindfulness, and patience. Each creation becomes a unique work of art reflecting resilience and individuality. Traditionally, broken pottery is mended with lacquer and gold powder carefully applied on top, but for this experience we use epoxy and gold powder, allowing you to complete your piece during the session and take it home immediately. This private session can be enjoyed as a standalone experience or added to a bespoke tour for an even more exclusive journey.
